2010 Annual Networking Social: Tuesday, September 21st

The first meeting of the Philadelphia Section AIHA and the Philadelphia Chapter ASSE’s 2010-2011 educational program will be the joint networking event on Tuesday, September 21st, at “The Mansion” at the Villanova Conference Center (Radnor, PA) (click here for directions to the Villanova Conference Center). 

Schedule: Registration/appetizers:   5:00 - 6:00 PM
              Announcement/Kick-Off:  6:00 - 6:30 PM
              Networking/dinner:         6:30 - 9:00 PM

Because networking is a primary benefit of Local Section/Chapter membership, we want to make sure to provide ample opportunity for this important activity.  Networking is about establishing and nurturing mutually beneficial relationships, which brings you new connections with people, some of whom may become customers or vendors. Networking also puts you in touch with other resources, such as industry experts, people in lateral positions to yours, or potential employers, who can help you in other ways. Hence, you should put a little bit of effort into preparing for the event to ensure that this networking opportunity is beneficial to you and to your organization.

Have some goal in mind for what you hope to accomplish during the event.  We will structure the event so that everyone will have the chance to meet everyone that is attending as well as get to know our sponsors better.  Networking should be part of any business strategy. In fact, you should allot time for this because this is an investment that will have long term benefits. 

This event is FREE, but is limited to the
first 50 people to sign up.  If you sign up, PLEASE BE SURE that you will be able to attend, as no-shows will affect the structure of the networking opportunity (a stand-by list will be kept for those who sign up after the limit has been reached).  Food and drinks will be provided.

Come out and take advantage of this opportunity.  Remember, have some goals for what you hope to accomplish and talent that you would like to meet. 

Attire for the meeting– dress for success!  You may be talking with old friends, or meeting a potential new employer or client.  Please bring plenty of business cards and a note pad and pen can’t hurt either.

As this event is sold out, we are placing names on a stand-by list, which will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis as registered attendees cancel.  To have your name placed on the stand-by list, please send an email to tamara@tandemgroup.net, with your name and company affiliation.  You will be notified if a space opens that will permit you to attend. 
No walk-in attendees will be admitted on the evening of the event, without exception
